Hello Shaun, i have a Tefal 2 in 1 air fryer. its stopped working. i found out that it is the motor, so i ordered one online. however, after the original motor has a different connection to the new one. the new one has two spade connectors that you push the onto from the side. my old one has a small square block connector that plugs in to the top. my question is could i cu the old block connection off, crimp spade connector onto the red and blue wires and connect them on ?

Hi dave.. first of all, I’m not a qualified electrician so please don’t take my advice as gospel, but as long as the motor is identical you should be fine. I’m not qualified for advice in this way, but I had a similar issue with a drain pump on a washing machine.. I had 2 parts come from 2 suppliers, both were the same but wrong connectors.. in the end, we bought a new one, but the guy who sold us it said we could have simply cut and re crimped. So if you know what you are doing I’d say go for it.
